Grandfather Clock

The term grandfather clock is used to distinguish the size and height of free standing clocks in the market. Grandfather clock is a free standing clock with stylish pendulum that is held inside the casings or tower. Grandfather clock usually stands beyond 6 feet in height while the clocks lower than 6 feet are called grandmother and granddaughter clocks respectively. With a tall height of a grandfather clock it is heavy and the weight make it stand on it's own independently.
